My weekly featured image - how could I not feature this as my ride is a '77 shovel.
Ah man, that's a sweet bike. And the girl isn't too shabby either! /understatement.
You really came through on this one it is an amazing piece, you should be proud and I'm sure you were exhausted by the time it was done ! It looks fantastic!!!!!
This is incredible! There are so many phenomenal small details. Her outfit is beautiful and I love what you have done with the background.
Thank You. It was a challenging piece to say the least. I'm moving in that direction with the backgrounds. two reasons. One is that I can do the borders etc like I like to do but not so overpowering. Second is that with the texturing it's much easier to clean up little patches of over spray etc. Keeping a white background clean can be a challenge. I went with the leather look but I didn't want it to be black. I did it in the warm tones to go with the red and gold bike. I wasn't sure if the hoop antenna on her helmet would work but it turned out good. As I was doing the bike, I thought it would never end. When I started painting the details I began to fear that I may have put too much in it and that it might turn out a bit gaudy. It turned out really good though and the feedback has been great on it. I'm doing a couple of mermaids next with not quite as much detail. But I have another badass bike piece in the works.
Remarkable,i can see this gracing some fund hedge manager's wall. How large is this work, may I ask?
this is aces!
Thank you. It was a fun monster. I'll be doing more soon. I need to get some more mermaids out of the way first.
wow...but Shovel Punk? I'm not familiar with that genre...
It's a shovel head Harley Davidson done in a Steampunk theme..
Deadly! The punk look is great!
TY I did it for a bike show on the 31st
